THE CFSA PRIZE, Enactment of International Award

변화 속에 직면한 교육은, 그 교육을 올바르게 전개하는 데 발목을 잡지 않는 파트너로서, 창의적이고 건전한 학교건축을 요구한다. 이 파트너 자격을 모든 건축가가 받을 수 있는 것은 아니다. 상업적 시선과 접근을 뒤로 한채, 학교건축에 대해 사명감과 진심어린 애정을 가지고 헌신하는 “학교건축가”만이 그럴 수 있다. 

우리는 그러한 헌신을 존경해야 하고, 우리는 그들에게 최고의 예의를 기해야 한다. 그들의 헌신이 학교를, 교육을, 아이를 변화시켜 인류의 미래에 투영되기 때문이다.

이러한 헌신적인 ‘학교건축가’는, 아시아 모든 국가에서 그들의 자리에 묵묵히 서있다. 

그들, 매년 학교건축을 통해 아시아지역의 인류와 교육환경 및 학교건축에 중요한 공헌을 한 살아있는 건축가 1명(팀)을 기리고자, 우리 포럼의 최고의 존경을 담아, ‘THE CFSA PRIZE’ 국제상을 수여하고자 한다.

Education facing changes requires creative and healthy school architecture. In other words, school architecture must be viewed as a partner that does not hold back the right unfolding of education. 

Not all architects qualify to serve in this role. Only ‘School Architects’ who set aside commercial perspectives and approaches and are dedicated to school architecture with a sense of duty and sincere affection can do justice to the demands. We have to respect such dedication and pay our utmost decorum. Their dedication changes school, education, and children and is reflected onto the future of humanity. 

Such dedicated ‘School Architects’ stand their ground in silence in all Asian countries. 

To commemorate 1 living one (team) of architects from the Asian region, who have made important contributions to humanity and the educational environment and school architecture through the School Architecture each year, we wish to award CFSA’s international award ‘THE CFSA PRIZE’ with all the respect of our forum we could possibly express.
